AMPAC Paving does not use recycled asphalt

We begin your project with a base of 3/4 crushed limestone, and we allow several days to weeks to ensure proper settlement of the disturbed ground. With the proper materials and compaction from professional, vibratory rollers, a paved driveway should last 15-20 years.

All of our concrete framing work is done to exceed your expectations

According to most standards, concrete driveways are poured with materials at 15-20 MPa. MPa is a pressure measurement, meaning “megapascal”. The higher the MPa measurement, the more durable the concrete.

AMPAC uses 32MPa (or 4640 psi) concrete with 6% air entrain

Air entrain refers to minute pockets of air distributed throughout the concrete mixture to improve durability through freezing and thawing cycles – a necessity for properties in Canada. AMPAC’s qualified concrete finishers are experienced in a variety of finishes, including smooth, broom, machine, and trowel finishes. Although there are many varieties of concrete, AMPAC uses dense mixtures with impact-resistant durability for everything from hot tubs to machinery pads. Fibre content mixes are also available for added durability.
