AMPAC is a family-run paving and concrete contractor based in Richmond Hill. We do not broker work out to whoever is available — the crew that quotes your job is the crew that paves it.
How we work
We started in 1998 doing residential driveways in Richmond Hill and the surrounding towns. The work grew into commercial parking lots, condo roadways and industrial yards, but the way a job runs has not changed: someone from AMPAC comes out, measures, probes the base and tells you what the surface actually needs — not what is easiest to sell.
We own our milling machine, paver and rollers, and we run our own crews. That matters on scheduling — we are not waiting on a subcontractor to free up — and it matters on quality, because the same people answer for the work at the end of the day.
Most of what goes wrong with asphalt happens below it. Water that has nowhere to go, a base that was never compacted, edges with no support. We spend the time on those before the hot mix arrives, which is why our quotes are itemized: you can see exactly what you are paying for and what you are not.

Milling machine, paver, rollers, excavators and float trailers. Owning the fleet is why we can start when we say we will, and why we can put a proper crew on a 400 square foot driveway as readily as on a 40-stall lot.
