A concrete walkway is the first thing people walk on at your home. It should be flat, slip-resistant and sloped so water runs away from the house instead of toward the foundation or the front step.
Forming, pouring and finishing
The path is excavated and a compacted granular base is built. Forms are set to line and grade, reinforcement is placed where it is needed, and the concrete is poured, levelled and given a broom finish for grip. Control joints are cut so any cracking happens in a straight line where it is planned.
Tying into the rest of the property
Walkways often meet a driveway, porch, step or garden bed. We set the height and slope so each transition is flush and drains, and can combine concrete with interlock borders or asphalt where the job calls for it.
